Keep the two measurements separate

EC is the chart’s electrical-conductivity reference for the nutrient solution; pH is a separate reference for acidity and alkalinity. The Monkey chart lists pH 5.5–6.5 throughout, including flush. Normal EC rises from 1.2 to 1.5 through veg, and follows 1.6, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, 2.2 and 1.9 through the eight bloom weeks. Closed-room EC is shown separately. Record your actual readings alongside the appropriate chart row. No flush EC is supplied. Calibration procedures depend on your meter: follow its manufacturer’s instructions rather than a made-up routine here.

Read the environmental rows

Temperature is shown as 20–27°C. Humidity is 70–85% through veg, then changes through bloom as displayed on the feeding chart. Keep the current week and correct EC row visible. Ask your stockist for advice if the grow does not fit the supplied schedule.
